HERD Butchery was founded in 2021 by Robert Mee and family. Robert, who spent a decade honing his butchery skills in Toronto, Canada, always aspired to open his own butcher shop back in his hometown in Ireland. Inspired by his childhood experiences on his parents' farm, Robert's passion for sustainable farming practices and high-quality food led him to establish HERD Butchery.
Robert's journey into the world of butchery began when he trained at Brian McEntee's family butcher shop, the location where he is now operating HERD Butchery.
